John Borden Evans is a landscape painter, whose well-known extraordinary nightscapes capture the essence of the land around his home in Albemarle County Virginia.  In addition to painting John can usually be found building something, whether it be a new beehive or a new painting studio. Never one to let the enormity of a job actually get in the way of doing it, he is the perfect example of how much you can accomplish if you just keep working.
